Enhancing performance
Feeding forages into your digester is a great way to boost biogas production, but if not done correctly, can cause operational issues. Fibres, if too long can bind together forming mats/crusts/floating layers on the digesters surface. This is not an efficient use of feedstock, and can prevent efficient mixing and gas escaping. Adding an enzyme can help breakdown these mats, helping mixing, and feedstock utilisation become more efficient.
MiaMethan® ProCut
This Enzyme reduces the viscosity of the digester contents and can also reduce the retention time of your digester by breaking down the structure of fibrous feedstuffs and enabling the bacteria to maximise the biogas potential of, for example, lower quality forages. Supplied in biodegradable 500g/750g bags, packed into 15kg boxes.
